If you have little time, the municipality's tourist guide suggests leaving your car near the bridge and walking. The order and timings here are my own arrangement of the stops the guide mentions.
The bridge and the Folklore Museum
Start at the bridge, which the guide describes as the town's symbol, over 140 m long and almost 4 m wide. Next to it stands the two-storey building of 1864 housing the Folklore Museum, which was first a guard house of the bridge and later a border post, since the agreement of 1881 placed the border at the middle of the bridge. Beside it is the tourist information point.
Products and coffee
In the nearby shops you will find local delicacies. Finish with a coffee under the “Plane Tree of Ali Pasha”, which was declared a protected natural monument in 1976. The guide considers the area of the bridge the best viewpoint over the town.
