I give no names or ratings of restaurants because I have no reliable data. The official directory of the municipality has “Food Service” and “Market” categories on discoverarta.gr, under “Businesses”.
In town
The municipality's guide suggests tsipouro, from the zabela grape, and meze in ouzeries, and relaxing on the squares or near the bridge. Skoufa Street has cafés and shops.
In the countryside
On Koronisia the seafood of the Ambracian Gulf suits; see the page “What to eat in Arta”. CNN Greece mentions in Pistiana a taverna with wild boar, lamb kontosouvli, beef chops and pies. In the mountains also look for zabela tsipouro, often sold in bulk.
