History and architecture
The exact foundation is undetermined; building techniques point to the second half of the 17th century and the church was renovated in 1665. It is a simple single-aisled cross-plan church with a dome and a stone-slab roof. The frescoes were painted in 1680 and 1694 and there is a carved gilded wooden templon. The name comes from the animal fair (“mouchousti”) once held on the grounds. The feast is on 8 September.
